 We are an Independent Insurance Agency, which means we represent many different companies so we can find the one that is right for you. We can shop your insurance for you instead of you having to call around. Our goal is to provide you with the insurance you want at the lowest possible price, while providing you with the highest level of customer service. We can furnish you with an assessment of your insurance needs and a choice of which package fits you best.
The agency has doubled its agent size as well as it's building area and continues to grow every year. The office building has been remodeled inside and will soon be renovated on the outside. This reflects our friendly customer service and helpful attitudes. First Tribune Insurance specializes in crop insurance but sells all types of insurance including auto, home, renters, farm, business, commercial, health, life, annuities, & provides free quotes. -
- Carol Bloesser - Owner / Agent
After raising a family of four children and experiencing occupations in banking and other lines of business, Carol began her insurance career in 1989. She purchased First Tribune Insurance Agency in 1992. In 2005, she created 1st Choice Insurance, then bought and placed Owen Sleigh’s insurance business in this new LLC. She no longer has her securities license (because of extensive continuing education and training), but continues to renew her property, casualty, life, and health. Crop insurance has been her love, but with the tremendous growth of the two agencies, she now spends most of her time in the area of management, updates, marketing, and related subjects.
- Lesa Nolan - Agent / CSR
Lesa joined First Tribune Insurance Agency in April 2002 and has enjoyed learning all aspects of insurance. Lesa specializes is Crop Insurance, but is licensed to sell Property and Casualty, Life and Health and Crop products. Lesa works hard to provide our customers with updated information that will help them understand their crop insurance coverage and options. Lesa keeps busy with her daughter who recently got married and moved back to Tribune, and following her son, who team ropes and rides bucking horses in Kansas Pro Rodeo Association.
- Jill Vazquez - Agent / CSR
A native of Greeley County, Jill became a member of First Tribune’s family in October 2006. Though licensed in crop, her main focus is in property and casualty. If your needs are auto, home, farm or commercial, Jill will be there to guide you through the insurance maze. She feels that the one-on-one time she spends with her customers is the best way to discover their individual insurance needs.
- Janet Crittenden - Agent / CSR
Janet started with First Tribune Insurance Agency in March 2007 on a part time basis. I enjoyed working with all the customers so much I decided to become an agent. Janet is licensed in Property and Casualty, but specializes in Crop Insurance.
- Denise Phillips - Agenty/Secretary
Denise began working part-time for First Tribune Insurance Agency in November 2008. She has enjoyed being able to put faces to names with the insurance customers. In addition to their “daytime” jobs, Denise and her husband took over the small family farm in 2002
- Carrie Morman, - Agent/Bookkeeper
Carrie has been the bookkeeper for First Tribune Insurance, 1st Choice Insurance, Sunburst Farms Partnership, and other entities for Carol since March 2003. She continues in this position plus will be working with the crop mapping program and other areas as needed. Carrie has a daughter and two sons and lives on a farm North of Tribune.
